The room was large, well equipped and clean: the carpet had been recently changed and was clean, without the ugly smell some hotel carpets have, evening after a cleaning. The room was large enough to actually be able to walk comfortably; the room was well equipped with a/c, internet service, a coffee machine, microwave, small fridge and hair dryer. There were also an iron and ironing board, but I think they could keep a couple of larger ones in the laundry room instead. The cleaners did a great job every day. Parking was easy and complimentary. The laundry room was clean and well- maintained and had detergent available for purchase. The pool was nice and open until 11pm, which is longer than other hotel pool hours, usually open only until 9pm. Overall, a pretty good value, considering how expensive hotels can be in San Diego. I also loved that there were recommendations to cafés and restaurant that were walking distance from the hotel, and for restaurants in town.

We could go to every one of the most-wanted spots for a tourist in San Diego. The parking was affordable at $10 per night, it can get crowded, but we could handle it without much hassle. The swimming pool is charming, well-maintained, and tranquil. We had a really good time there. The room was spaced enough with kitchen things so we could prepare our stuff and not bother to eat outdoors every day. The housekeeping ladies looked very friendly and patient when we asked to come later to clean our room, and they left the spaces very clean, the front desk people also were super friendly. Kudos to that team!

My son and I stayed at the Days Inn expecting 'budget' standards. But the hotel was in walking distance to 2 main transport lines that took us to LA, San Diego beaches and all the main attractions. The cleaning room service was on-point everyday, with really friendly accommodating room cleaners. And I have to shout out to, I believe his name is Andrew. He couldn't do more for us during our stay and definitely helped make our vacation more than expected. And everytime I said 'thank you', he simply said "it's part of my job"! Would definitely stay again!

The staff are absolutely amazing. So friendly and willing to assist. The room and motel is dated. We knew this before we traveled but one stand out and consistent review is the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. There is always someone available to assist you and answer your questions. But the location was prime to get to all of the great things to do in San Diego and with the money we saved we were able to truly enjoy the sights of San Diego then get a great nights sleep.

Good location close to SDSU and tourist spots. Staff were very prompt with requests for more coffee supplies and towels. Housekeeping was great. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. I liked having a kitchenette and access to washer/dryer because we stayed 7 nights. My key wasn’t working and Michael was sent to change out the battery quickly so I wasn’t stuck outside in the heat and humidity!
